This week was very productive. I had a mix of feelings doing my tasks. I felt nervous, excited, happy, worried, etc.
The article “Three Extensive Reading Activities for ESL/EFL Students Using E-books” by Mei-Ya Liang gave me a clear idea about how to encourage my students for the reading because the majority of them don’t like reading, but now I know some tips.
I felt scared when I had to create a lesson plan with technology. I have never done that before however thanks to information from the article “Lesson Plans” form the Innovative Technology Center at the University of Tennessee I could order my ideas. I hope to do it well. All these steps are useful in order to have my project outline.
In conclusion, the more tasks I do the more curious I feel. It’s amazing how useful is becoming this webskill course!
I’m lucky to be part of a great group!
Dear Class
ReplyDeleteI know Gaby have read the article Three Extensive Reading Activities for ESL-EFL written by Mei-Ya Liang. I didn´t read it. Gaby says, she didn´t have an idea how to encourage her students to like reading. I ask Gaby if you like to tell me some tips for enjoying reading, I´ll thank you.
I had some problems to create a Lesson Plan with Technology as Gaby did, because I´m not good for technology, but it´s better today than never.
Congratulations Gaby. Go ahead
Dear Gaby,
ReplyDeleteI understand you when you say that you were scared when you had to create a lesson plan with technology. So was I, in the sense that I decided to create it related to teacher training.
I agree with you that this webskills course is becoming very useful.
And I enjoy reading all the blogs.
Juan.
Dear Gaby,
ReplyDeleteI understand the way you and Juan felt about creating a lesson plan with technology, I felt almost in the same way. Trying to adopt as much as I could the subject with the technology and the students. But do you know what I am really scared of?
Putting everything into practice.
The limited technological tools made the whole process difficult, daring and 'dangerous.'
